Kiran Marahatta named as Chief Judge
Nepal America Tourism Journalist Association, NATJA, has called for application for NATJA International Journalism Award.
Any journalist from any part of the world who has worked in the predominant press, in any dialect, in any event for at least five years can apply for this award. Sanjok Acharya, the president of NATJA, “This honor is built up to respect the excellent journalist who has made an extraordinary contribution in the tourism segment through his reports and publication,” Mr. Acharya, him self is a famous tourism columnist, expressed that they had shaped a board of judges of 3 individuals, to choose the beneficiary of the honor, under the authority of Kiran Marahatta, a Legendary journalist of Nepal, who is engaged in ABC Television and contributor of the HuffPost. Alternate individuals from the judging board are Chiran Sharma, Editor-in-Chief of www.nepalbritain.com and London Bureau Chief of Nagarik National Daily and Tekraj Thami, member of Federation of Nepali Journalist and Bureau Chief of Naya Patrika National Daily. The candidate is encouraged to apply with two tourism-related published or broadcasted materials within the year 201 alongside their detail resume.
Winners will be chosen on the premise of published articles and their impact alongside individual accomplishment and commitment in the field. The detailed procedure of application has published on NATJA website. NATJA established this award in 2015 with the sum of 25 Thousand Nepali Rupees.
The award will be given in Kathmandu at the anniversary ceremony of NATJA.
