Anmol Patel, Anisha Shah and Mansi Shah Performed their presentation of ” Teen Taal kathak Dance Debut at The Madison Theatre, Molloy College New York on March 31st 2018, in the presence of more than 650 plus audience. The program started auspiciously with Ganesh Vandana. Chief Guest for the night was Hon. Dilip Chauhan, Former Deputy Comptroller of Nassau County, New York. During his speech Mr. Chauhan emphasize on the important of dance ” What is Dance ” Dance – Defeat all negative energy via Creative Expression. Also he said “A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin, culture and art is like a tree without roots, Show me a person who found love in his life and did not celebrate it with a dance, Dance is the timeless interpretation of life. I think music in itself is healing. It’s an expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.
Mr.Chauhan congratulated Ashish & Vaishali Patel, Mala & Jatin Shah, and Sejal and Uday Shah for enrolling their daughter into the traditional dance, I know it’s not easy when kids start any kind of dance. Dancing is not only commitment from the student but for the parents as well. On behalf of New York State Senator Jose Peralta, Mr. Chauhan presented New York State Senate Honor to Anmol Patel, Anisha Shah, Manshi shah. Brief info about performer is Anmol Patel is currently a senior at Mineola High School and is the Salutatorian of the Class of 2018. She began her Kathak training at the age of 9, and has also explored various forms of dance such as Bollywood and Folk. another performer Anisha Shah is currently attending Mineola High School, where she will graduate as the Valedictorian of her class in June 2018. Anisha hopes to pursue a career in the field of healthcare, and will major in the biological sciences and Mansi Shah will be graduating from Great Neck South High School in June 2018. Participating in several activities such as being a three sport varsity athlete playing field hockey, lacrosse among others Mansi has received the “Quality of Life Award
