Tourism entrepreneurs have praised the budget that it gave priority for tourism infrastructure development, stressing the effective implementation of it. Tourism entrepreneur Yogendra Shakya said that the budget was positive for tourism sector for it has given priority for mega infrastructure project and local development. The tourism industry would achieve progress provided that the budget was implemented effectively. They said that the budget was friendly for the tourism sector as it has given emphasis on airport construction, trekking route development and religious tourism promotion. Likewise, General Secretary of Hotel Association of Nepal Binayak Shah said that infrastructure development is the need of hour instead of the tourism promotion. Budget’s orientation towards that point is positive, he added. He also suggested for expedition of airport construction and promotion of new tourism destination.
